Exsel Alamanda and Floralys Hotel
Responsible tourism also means passing on knowledge. In fact, we believe that our status as a sustainable tourism player should enable us to pass on ‘life skills’ during leisure time, by raising young people’s awareness of environmental issues and giving them the keys to understanding the ecological transition.
THE CONCEPT
Exsel Hôtels opens its doors to discovery classes, from CE1 to lycée, at the Exsel Alamanda and Floralys hotels. Because learning doesn’t stop at the classroom, we’ve come up with a range of turnkey educational trips, in partnership with committed local associations and organisations.
Our aim? To offer pupils a life-size immersion in the riches of Réunion. Observe, touch, understand… and above all have fun while learning!
The educational activities during the stay will take the form of outdoor activities and workshops in the schools.
Duration: minimum 3 nights, maximum 4
Period: February to June and early December,
A TURNKEY SERVICE

THE THEMES
Marine Environments
Pupils discover the richness of Réunion's marine ecosystems by exploring coral reefs and taking part in sea turtle protection programmes. Educational visits to aquariums and awareness-raising activities encourage them to understand the importance of ocean conservation and to become defenders of marine biodiversity.
Fauna & Flora
Through visits to botanical gardens and planting workshops, pupils explore terrestrial biodiversity, learn to recognise and preserve local plant species and understand the interactions between different animal species, developing a deep respect for the island's unique nature.
SPORT & NATURE
For a bit of fun, the pupils take part in activities such as canyoning, rafting and hiking, combining physical exercise with discovery of the island's natural environment.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Pupils take part in sorting, recycling and furniture-making workshops, and visit educational farms to raise awareness of responsible consumption.
