THE TURTLE GARDEN

Exsel Hôtel is proud to partner with Jardin des Tortues in Les Avirons, it is both a garden and a wildlife park in Les Avirons 20 km from St Pierre & 15 km from St Leu.

We have been open to the public since 30 November 2019. Here you will find more than 400 specimens of aquatic and terrestrial turtles. Surface area: 2 hectares in total. The garden features tropical turtles, with the exception of aquatic turtles, most of which were collected and/or donated by their former owners.

This price includes entry to the Seychelles giant tortoise enclosure to pet and feed them, accompanied by an animal keeper. Nursery: for new turtles born throughout the year and incubators visible to the public.

Closed on Mondays; Open Tuesday to Sunday from 08:30 to 17:00;
Ticket office closes at 16:00;
Seychelles giant tortoise enclosure closed from 12pm to 1pm every day.
Snack bar closed: Thursdays outside school holidays
