Since the 1850s, two buildings have marked the entrance to Saint-Denis, serving as gateways to the island and the world. Among them is the Hôtel des Douanes, which now houses our brasserie.
Under the benevolent gaze of the statue of Roland Garros, La Basserie also acts as a bridge between two worlds: French tradition and Creole tradition.
