Since the 1850s, two buildings have marked the entrance to Saint-Denis, serving as gateways to the island and the world. Among them is the Hôtel des Douanes, which now houses our brasserie.
Under the benevolent gaze of the statue of Roland Garros, La Basserie also acts as a bridge between two worlds: French tradition and Creole tradition. The dishes cross oceans to arrive in the heart of Saint-Denis, in a place where eras, cultures and generations meet. Bearing the name of Roland Garros means continuing the spirit of the pioneers: courage, daring and openness to the world.
Open 7 days a week from 6:30am to midnight, with a Happy Hour every day from 5pm to 7pm — an ideal spot for a morning coffee as well as a late evening out.
